David J. Schipper, President & CEO email
Mr. Schipper began his commercial real estate development career in 1978 under the mentorship of his father-in-law, Mr. Paul Tell. Under David's leadership, The Schipper Group has developed and managed a portfolio of over 20 different properties. David’s hands-on strategy for success is built upon the dedicated leadership of his four-member executive team.
After graduating from Wheaton College (B.A. Psychology, 1965), David served as a captain in the US Marine Corps (1965-1969) flying as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, and was awarded the Distinguishing Flying Cross and 22 Air Medals. He holds postgraduate degrees from Pepperdine University (M.A., 1972) and Rosemead Graduate School of Psychology (Ph.D., 1977). Parallel to his early real estate career, David had a professional practice for eight years as an Ohio licensed psychologist. In addition to his real estate development career, David is actively involved in numerous philanthropic projects through his presidency of the Paul P. Tell Foundation. He has formerly served as a board member of the Akron Children's Hospital Foundation, The Chapel in Akron, the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, and the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. David resides with his wife in the Portage Lakes area of Akron, Ohio, and they have three adult daughters.

Thomas G. Weise, Vice President email
Tom has been a part of our executive team since 1996. His primary roles include strategic planning, acquisitions & dispositions, financing, contract negotiation, legal and lease administration, asset management and project development supervision. Tom has also served as a director of the Portage Development Board (economic development agency for Portage County, Ohio), as well as a board member of the Kent-Brimfield Joint Economic Development District. He is also a past member of the Business Advisory Council serving his local school district.
Tom graduated with honors in 1996 from Cedarville University (B.A. Finance). He also happens to be an Elder and one of the founding members of Bridge Bible Church located in Kent, Ohio.

Joash Bloom, Vice President email
Joash has been a part of our executive team since 2007. His primary responsibilities include leadership of both rehabilitation and new construction projects, marketing, IT systems administration, risk managment, and property management.
Joash is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute (B.S. in Aviation Technology) where he acheived his multi-engine commercial pilot's certificatation. He also enjoys volunteering at his church, Faith Family, as a sound technician.
In addition to serving at The Schipper Group, Joash provides certified coaching services to small business owners.

Brad is responsible for managing our construction projects. Brad joined The Schipper Group in the year 2019 bringing with him twenty plus years of Commercial Real Estate and leadership experience.

Driven to optimize the business by expanding markets, reducing costs, finding efficiencies within the business and developing leaders.

Tami Pallotta, Accounting Manager email
Tami is responsible for managing our Accounting, Insurance, Human Resource and Payroll Departments. In addition, she is actively involved with the day-to-day administration of the Waterford Village Apartments residential complex. Tami joined The Schipper Group in the year 2000 bringing with her twenty plus years of accounting expertise in other employment positions.
Tami and her husband Rich reside in Tallmadge. She is the proud mother of five adult children and six wonderful grandchildren. Tami is a member of Bethel Church of Tallmadge where she volunteers as a video tech and runs the food pantry for the outreach department. Tami devotes her free time traveling to warm sunny places, riding their Harley motorcycle and enjoying Sunday dinners with her children, their spouses and most of all, spoiling her grandchildren.
